Whise® was launched in April 1995 at the Audio Engineering Society conference held in Sydney, Australia. At the conference the company unveiled the original flagship Profunder 320 sub bass loudspeaker to the applause of world renowned industry contemporaries that included internationally acclaimed loudspeaker designer, Neville Thiele.  At the same time, Graeme Huon, Whise®'s CTO, and Dr. Greg Cambrell, technical consultant, presented a paper titled "New Low Frequency Enclosure Configurations".

In January 99, Whise® in co-operation with TMH Corporation exhibited its next level of speaker products, the Profunder 624 sub bass speaker and the Techtonic 130 3-way active full range loudspeaker, at the CES held at Las Vegas. The exhibition attracted an overwhelming response from product reviewers, dealers and potential licensees.

In May 2002, Whise® released its first active subwoofer, the Profunder 319A as a successor to the Profunder 320.  The Profunder 319A was released into the US and Australian markets.  The power amplifier is of Whise® design and employs the patented NTM filters.  Combined with the PAM-designed enclosure, the Profunder 319A delivers high SPL with the lowest distortion ever.  The Profunder 319A is the world's first audiophile subwoofer.  Reviews of the 319A once again reaffirmed Whise® technologies as best in class. 

Whise® has created some revolutionary audio technologies, implemented into both their own products, and products under license, including such companies as Alpine Electronics UK Limited, Alpine Electronics of USA Inc and Harman International Industries Inc. One of Australia’s leading premium audio company’s, Whatmough Monitors, has also implemented Whise® technologies including PAM.
